Highlights: Saint-Symphorien Chapel Concert Series

Located in the heart of Paris, the church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés houses a chapel full of history. The Saint-Symphorien Chapel stands in honor of Saint Symphorien, a young martyr from the end of the 2nd century. For the first time in history, a violin and harpsichord will be dueting and filling the sacred, gothic chapel.

Story: Saint-Symphorien Chapel Concert Series (Saint-Germain-des-Prés Church)

The superb Gothic church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés has been part of the Parisian landscape since the 6th century. It is a 5-minute walk from the banks of the Seine, surrounded by famous restaurants and fashion designer boutiques. Why not discover its vaulted and sculpted interior as well as its chapel where a massacre of refractory priests took place in 1792?

Today, the atmosphere is joyful and you can enjoy a classical music concert there in complete serenity.

Euromusic Productions has always been good at gathering some of the most talented musicians to play some of the most beautiful and difficult pieces of classical repertoire.

Chapelle Saint Symphorien in Saint-Germain-des-Prés Church

3 place Saint-Germain des Prés, 75006 Paris

Chapelle Saint Symphorien in Saint-Germain-des-Prés Church

Unlike the rather dark nave, the Saint Symphorien chapel located in the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a work of luminous simplicity. It honors Saint Symphorien, a young martyr of the 2nd century, and Saint Germain, a slab of which commemorates the site where tradition places the first tomb. Rich in a strong and bloody history, it is today a very popular place of meditation.

A place of prayer sheltered from the crowds, an intimate place, a bloody history that saw refractory priests massacred in 1792... Today, a place where you can come and listen to concerts in a peaceful and bright atmosphere.
